The Els Center of Excellence
The Els Center of Excellence is now moving from concept to reality! As of August 17, 2015, we began operations of the Lower School and Auditorium buildings. We are now in Phase II of construction, with the Upper-Level School and Sensory Arts Garden & Pavilion expected to be completed by mid-July of 2017.
The Els Center of Excellence is an extraordinary project that is designed to show the world what can be available to children and young adults on the autism spectrum.
There are numerous program elements and research plans that will expand our reach far beyond South Florida. The physical components include an educational program for 300 students ages 3-21 years old, applied research,
medical and professional services, the transition to adulthood and its myriad of aspects including adult living and job training.
The Learning Center is a public charter school located on-campus. To download an application, please visit www.thelearningcenter.org.
