2012 Golf Challenge
Sign up today to play in the 2012 Golf Challenge. Spearheaded by World of Golf Hall of Famer Ernie Els, the Els for Autism Golf Challenge has become the largest charity-driven, amateur golf tournament in history. The event raised over $1.8M in 2011 (its inaugural year) the Golf Challenge consisted of 30 Super Regional events across the US, from May through September, with two-person teams competing for a place at the Grand Finale - a two-day extravaganza of golf and entertainment hosted by Ernie and his friends from the PGA Tour in Las Vegas.
The Concept
- Largest charity-driven, international golf tournament in history
- 30 Super Regional events at handpicked courses across the U.S. between April/May-September with a two-day Grand Finale hosted by Ernie in Las Vegas in October
- Two ways to get to the final - be the low net team or raise $10,000 and automatically qualify
- Extraordinary Grand Finale prizes. For 2011 included luxury trips to South Africa, Chile, the U.K. and Ireland
